Aegis will collate details of all existing retirement provisions from individual or occupational pension schemes, identify the amount of income the client would require to live comfortably in retirement, advise on State benefits and then reconcile the client's target income in retirement with the provision already available, making recommendations for any amendments or improvements required to meet the client's needs.
Income tax liabilities are also taken into consideration so that the net income after taxation is identifiable.
Income from ongoing part-time or full-time employment can also be taken into consideration enabling the client to phase monthly income in retirement.
